Chemistry Module: contains separate spaces for water and acid purification (sub-boining and Milli-Q devices); samples digestion; chemical element separations with columns filled with ion exchange resins in laminar flow hoods; and weighing using high precision analytical balances.

Mass Spectrometry Module: houses a TRITON mass spectrometer and facilities for assembly and degassing of filaments and sample loading.

LAGIR also has a machine room that houses "fan-coil" systems that further pre-filtration (blanket and bag type filters), refrigeration and laboratory air renovation, keeping positive internal pressure in relation to the outside environment.
